रोटरी इंटरनॅशनल ही जगातील सर्वात मोठ्या सेवाभावी संस्थांपैकी एक असून तिचे १.४ दशलक्षांहून अधिक सदस्य २००+ देशांमध्ये कार्यरत आहेत. १९०५ मध्ये स्थापना झाल्यापासून रोटरीने “सेवा हीच सर्वोच्च” या ब्रीदवाक्याखाली काम केले आहे.

About Rotary India Literacy Mission (RILM)
रोटरी इंडिया लिटरेसी मिशन (RILM) बद्दल
The Rotary India Literacy Mission (RILM) is one of the largest education and literacy initiatives in India. Its mission is to achieve Total Literacy and Quality Education (TLQE).
The key programs under RILM include:
- Adult Literacy – Ensuring basic literacy for all
- Teacher Training – Building capacity for effective teaching
- E-learning Programs – Providing digital access to quality education
- School Development – Improving infrastructure and resources
- Scholarships – Supporting bright and deserving students to pursue higher education

रोटरी इंडिया लिटरेसी मिशन (RILM) हा भारतातील सर्वात मोठ्या शिक्षण व साक्षरता उपक्रमांपैकी एक आहे. याचे ध्येय आहे पूर्ण साक्षरता व दर्जेदार शिक्षण (Total Literacy and Quality Education – TLQE) साध्य करणे.
RILM अंतर्गत राबविले जाणारे प्रमुख प्रकल्प :
- प्रौढ साक्षरता – प्रत्येक व्यक्तीला साक्षर बनविणे
- शिक्षक प्रशिक्षण – प्रभावी अध्यापनासाठी शिक्षकांची क्षमता वाढविणे

रोटरी क्लब ऑफ औरंगाबाद वेस्ट बद्दल
The Rotary Club of Aurangabad West, a proud member of Rotary International District 3132, has been actively engaged in impactful community service projects for several decades.

About the Scholarship Initiative
शिष्यवृत्ती उपक्रमाबद्दल
The Scholarship Program under Rotary India Literacy Mission and implemented by Rotary Club of Aurangabad West is one of the most impactful educational initiatives in Maharashtra.
Key highlights:
- Scholarships exclusively for Std. IX and X students progressing to Std. XI & XII (Science Stream – CET / NEET / JEE preparation)
- Covers 100% tuition fees for deserving students
- Selection based on previous year’s academic performance and family income criteria
- Fully online application process with document upload (Aadhar Card, Photograph, Previous years Marksheet, Income Certificate)
- A Scrutiny Committee reviews applications transparently and fairly
- Every year, 2000 students across Maharashtra benefit from this initiative
This scholarship covers only the educational tuition fees. Other expenses like stationery, college admission fees, hostel, and mess charges will need to be borne by the student.
Through this initiative, Rotary Club of Aurangabad West aims to ensure that no deserving student is deprived of higher education due to financial constraints.
रोटरी इंडिया लिटरेसी मिशन अंतर्गत रोटरी क्लब ऑफ औरंगाबाद वेस्ट राबवत असलेला शिष्यवृत्ती उपक्रम हा महाराष्ट्रातील अत्यंत प्रभावी शैक्षणिक प्रकल्पांपैकी एक आहे.
महत्वाचे मुद्दे :
- शिष्यवृत्ती फक्त ९ वी व १० वी पूर्ण केलेल्या आणि ११ वी – १२ वी विज्ञान शाखेत (CET / NEET / JEE तयारीसाठी) प्रवेश घेणाऱ्या विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी
- १०० % शिकवणी शुल्क शिष्यवृत्ती पात्र विद्यार्थ्यांना दिली जाईल
- निवड प्रक्रिया मागील वर्षाचे शैक्षणिक गुण व पालकांचे उत्पन्न प्रमाणपत्र या आधारे होईल
- संपूर्ण ऑनलाईन अर्ज प्रक्रिया, ज्यामध्ये आधार कार्ड, फोटो, मागील वर्षाची मार्कशीट व उत्पन्न प्रमाणपत्र अपलोड करणे आवश्यक
- अर्जांची तपासणी करण्यासाठी स्वतंत्र समिती (Scrutiny Committee) कार्यरत असेल
- दरवर्षी महाराष्ट्रातील २००० पेक्षा जास्त विद्यार्थ्यांना या योजनेचा लाभ मिळतो
या शिष्यवृत्तीमधून फक्त शिकवणी शुल्काचा खर्च केला जाईल. स्टेशनरी, कॉलेज प्रवेश शुल्क, वसतिगृह व मेस खर्च विद्यार्थ्यांनी स्वतः करायचा आहे.
या उपक्रमाचा उद्देश असा आहे की पात्र व गुणवंत विद्यार्थ्याला फक्त आर्थिक अडचणीमुळे शिक्षणापासून वंचित राहावे लागू नये.
